What is this blog about?
This is just a place for me to post my thoughts about things. It may be about technology, my personal projects, my thoughts on life, or anything else. Perhaps one day it will settled into a particular niche, but for now, I’m just going to post about whatever strikes me.
Who am I?
I’m a 26 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. I spent my time in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic, providing IT technical support, and providing intelligence for cyber operations.
I grew up in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon and have always considered the Pacific Northwest my home, even as the Air Force moved me all over the country (and sometimes world).
I just finished a Computer Science degree at Oregon State University and previously completed a National Security Degree at Excelsior University. I also have two Associates Degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Information Management and Intelligence Studies.
I consider myself semi-retired, but I don’t plan on just sitting around not accomplishing anything. I have a few ideas on what I want to do, but I’ll save that for the blog.
